Terms of Use

These terms govern the use of the FuelLog app and related services.

Operator

The app is operated by the publisher of the FuelLog app listed with the app on Google Play. For support and legal inquiries, use support@fuellog.eu and privacy@fuellog.eu.

Service description

FuelLog is an app for keeping vehicle, fuel, expense, service, reminder, photo, voice input, backup and export records.

The app does not replace accounting, tax, legal, technical or vehicle-service advice. The user is responsible for the accuracy of entered data and for how exports, statistics or records are used.

Account and sign-in

Some features may require sign-in with a Google account. The user is responsible for protecting their Google account and not sharing access with unauthorized persons.

PRO features and Cloud Backup

Some features may be marked as PRO. In the current version, this may include Cloud Backup, advanced exports or other advanced features depending on app and backend availability.

During testing, PRO features may be available to testers for free. If they become paid in production, the price, availability and terms will be shown in the app or on Google Play before a paid feature is activated.

User content

The user may enter data, notes, photos and documents into the app. The user must not upload content that violates third-party rights, law or good morals.

When taking photos of receipts, odometers or documents, we recommend not photographing people, identity documents or any data that is not needed for vehicle records.

Backups and exports

Manual ZIP backups, PDF, CSV and other exports may contain personal data, photos, costs, service history or other sensitive information. The user is responsible for further handling of exported files.

Cloud Backup stores database history on the FuelLog backend if the user enables it and meets availability requirements. In the current version, Cloud Backup does not store physical attachment photos.

Service availability

We aim to keep the app and related services available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, especially during maintenance, internet outages, provider outages or technical issues.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided as a tool for personal records. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for damage caused by incorrect data entry, improper use of exports, service unavailability or user decisions based on app data.

Termination

The user may stop using the app, clear local data and request deletion of their account and backend data as described on the Account and data deletion page.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms when the app, service, PRO feature availability or legal requirements change. The current version will be available on this page.
