Terms of Use
These terms govern the use of the FuelLog app and related services.
Operator
The FuelLog app is operated by Tomáš Navrátil, Holandská 13, 571 01 Moravská Třebová, Czech Republic. For support and legal inquiries, use support@fuellog.eu and privacy@fuellog.eu.
Service description
FuelLog is an app for keeping vehicle, fuel, expense, service, reminder, photo, receipt recognition, voice input, shared car, backup and export records.
The app does not replace accounting, tax, legal, technical or vehicle-service advice. The user is responsible for the accuracy of entered data and for how exports, statistics or records are used.
Account and sign-in
Some features may require sign-in with a Google account. The user is responsible for protecting their Google account and not sharing access with unauthorized persons.
PRO features and Cloud Backup
Some features are part of FuelLog PRO: more than two active cars, sharing your own car, Cloud Backup and unlimited full PDF exports. The current scope is described on the FuelLog PRO page and in the app.
During testing, PRO features may be available to testers for free.
FuelLog PRO is sold as a subscription through Google Play. The price, billing period and feature scope are shown in the app and on Google Play before you confirm the purchase. Payments are processed solely by Google Play; refunds and payment complaints follow Google Play rules.
The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in Google Play under Payments and subscriptions. After cancelling, PRO stays active until the end of the period you already paid for. When you delete your account, we stop the automatic renewal; the paid period runs out and no money is refunded.
Shared cars
An owner with active PRO can share a car with up to five other people and set their role. Members can see the car's data and, depending on their role, edit it. Photos are not sent with shared cars.
The owner is responsible for who they share the car with. They can remove members or stop sharing; when sharing is stopped, the owner keeps a private copy of the car on their phone and the other members lose access to it. Records a member added to the car remain part of the car after the member leaves.
If the owner's PRO ends, sharing is paused and the car is read-only until PRO is renewed. How long we keep shared car data is described in the Privacy Policy.
User content
The user may enter data, notes, photos and documents into the app. The user must not upload content that violates third-party rights, law or good morals.
When taking photos of receipts, odometers or documents, we recommend not photographing people, identity documents or any data that is not needed for vehicle records.
Backups and exports
Manual ZIP backups, PDF, CSV and other exports may contain personal data, photos, costs, service history or other sensitive information. The user is responsible for further handling of exported files.
Cloud Backup stores database history on the FuelLog backend if the user enables it and meets availability requirements. In the current version, Cloud Backup does not store physical attachment photos. After PRO ends, Cloud Backup can still be restored for 30 days; it is then locked and deleted 90 days after PRO ended.
Service availability
We aim to keep the app and related services available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability, especially during maintenance, internet outages, provider outages or technical issues.
Limitation of liability
The app is provided as a tool for personal records. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for damage caused by incorrect data entry, improper use of exports, service unavailability or user decisions based on app data.
Termination
The user may stop using the app, clear local data and request deletion of their account and backend data as described on the Account and data deletion page.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the app, service, PRO feature availability or legal requirements change. The current version will be available on this page.
